Friends of Advantage

Friends of Advantage (FOA) is planning our 2nd annual Car & Bike Show for Saturday, October 30, 2010 at The Varsity in Athens.

This year we also plan to have a Children's Carnival on the lawn at the Car & Bike Show. We will be hosting a Halloween Costume Contest for both children & adults and will have games, face painting, and candy for trunk or treating as well.

After nearly year of building funds through your support, Friends of Advantage has made its first major contribution to ABHS -- over $20,000 to the completion of the renovations at the Elberton developmental disabilities site, Qualitech.

This renovation will allow all ABHS programs in Elbert county to move into one location, saving money on rent for years to come.

Do you have a prom or formal dresses sitting in the closet collecting dust? Do you know of others who may?

If so, please consider donating to Friends of Advantage to help someone in need. Friends of Advantage is currently collecting gently used prom/formal dresses for an upcoming benefit dress sale.

We are challenging school groups, sororities, civic organizations, church groups and all others to see who can collect the most dresses.

Please help us spread the word!!
